U.S. Flag   California Flag

We're Charlie and Carol Button, the California Buttons, and we're glad you're visiting our web site. We hope you enjoy it.

The California Buttons, who were the Woodstock Buttons until July of 1977, live in Westminster, California. Actually our home is in an area that has come to be called "Little Saigon" because of the large population of Vietnamese. Westminster is in Orange County. For out-of-staters, that's the county lying along the Pacific coast between Los Angeles County and San Diego County.

We became the California Buttons when Charlie was transferred here by his then employer, IBM, which has the reputation of moving its employees around a lot. Because of this, people say that "IBM" stands for "I've Been Moved," but our move was strictly voluntary.

The California Buttons actually comprise four families. First, of course, there's Carol and Charlie Button, the old folks (that's us), pictured here. The other three families are:

  • Our son, Gerald, and his wife, Margaret, who live in Huntington Beach, California.

  • Our daughter Helen, her husband, Richard Girard, and their two children, Kimberly and Jason, who live in Tustin, California.

  • Our daughter Mary, her husband, Steve Rosales, and their four children, Rachel, Daniel, Dylan and Sabrina, who like us, live in Westminster, California. Steve is an expert body and paint man.

Although we live in three different cities, we're all within twenty minutes of each other, so we can easily get together for major holidays, birthdays, etc. We enjoy these family get-to-gathers very much.
